OMGi Essentials
Creative: Daniella McGowan
OMGi Essentials officially launched in 2017 by Daniella McGowan who was inspired by her daughter to create fun and all-natural daily essential products.
Growing up with the belief that there is a natural alternative for just about everything, she was motivated to be more conscious about the ingredients of her family’s daily essential products. All products are hand-crafted from a blend of natural and organic ingredients.
In 2019 a new product line emerged; concrete succulent diffusers. Inspired by her love of plants and desire to reuse typical single use packaging, she started to create concrete planter molds using recycled materials. Potted with live succulents and lava stones along with a hand-painted design, each unique concrete succulent diffuser can be displayed as beautiful home or office décor, all while capable of naturally diffusing your favorite essential oils.
Squirrelly Studio
Creative: Lysha Manderson
Lysha Manderson launched Squirrelly Studio in April 2016, and has since remained passionate about sharing Caymankind through her designs!
Lysha and her husband, Julian Manderson, love creating products that will spread joy, spark inspiration and bring good vibes to the people around them. Their brand has become easily recognizable with trendy, bold, bright designs and positive statements.
The Squirrelly Studio product range includes wooden signs, keychains, bookmarks, calendars, stickers, mugs, tumblers, ornaments, photo frames and tote bags (and is always expanding)!
Squirrelly Studio also takes custom orders and can be contacted at squirrellystudio@gmail.com.
Butterfly Kisses
Creative: Jerrica Watt
For Jerrica Watt, Butterfly Kisses is a passion project. She enjoys creating handmade accessories in small batches along with a few curated pieces. Using natural semi-precious stones for some of her pieces, a feeling of luxury comes easily, without the high price tag.
Butterfly Kisses’ designs are influenced by the island and provides Jerrica the opportunity to offer a true CaymanKind experience when working with customers.
BurGrazz
Creative: Pam Mitchell
Pam’s love for her island blossomed into creating and designing beautiful and fun products which can be used daily all while showcasing Caymanian pride.
In March 2020, at the annual Agriculture Show, Pam proudly released her latest collection which includes beautiful burlaps totes designed with the Cayman Islands map coordinates and a “Be Kind, Shop Local” slogan. Her collection also includes adjustable caps, designed with airport codes for each of the three islands.
Michellustrations
Creative: Michelle Bryan
Michelle Bryan is a local watercolour illustrator who has loved art since before she can remember. She creates fanciful illustrations that harken back to childhood. Watercolour scenes of daydreams and story time, filled with friendly animal companions and cozy moments with family, appear straight out of a children’s book. And, in fact, the 29-year-old has already illustrated three local children’s books, set for publication soon.
The Bodden Town artist and owner of Michellustrations views her art as a way to serve others, by sharing a message, bringing a smile to a face, warming a heart or capturing a special moment. For Bryan, art brightens an often dark and chaotic world.
“Art is the vehicle of my message and the message is to let all you do be a protest of beauty in a chaotic world.”
Knotical Cayman
Creative: Lacey Manz
What started as a pastime, quickly became a passion.
Knotical Cayman was born during the lockdowns of 2020 when Lacey Manz first tried her hand at macrame. Creativity and an eye for detail meant that her fun and functional pieces instantly caught the eye of others, and the custom orders began.
Lacey currently focuses on macrame coasters and wall mandalas, but keep your eye out for a new macrame earring collection.
